Youth SF is an annual K-12 scholarship foundation offering financial support to San Francisco Youth based on need and merit.
Youth SF is a privately funded, non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to children by helping low-income and struggling families in San Francisco afford the cost of tuition at private schools.
Youth SF provides scholarships to a wide range of students each year. Our scholarships are awarded on a first-come first-served on the basis and further awarded based on financial need and academic merit. Awarded amount is also based on household size and income and usually cover 25%-75% of a school’s tuition, up to $2,500, per student, per year.
We believe that scholarships work. Often high school graduates, and scholarship recipients who receive similar tuition assistance are later awarded significant, and often full scholarships to colleges and university. The support we offer has direct correlations to top test scores and excellent parent ratings and above average API scores.
